Tonight I was in a texture mood…so I found a few of Erin & Noel’s wedding that I wanted to try them out on.

Later on I discovered that I have I have many photos of my own that are actually perfect textures (especially the macros I’ve done recently!) Once I discovered that I had a number of great textures right under my nose I went on a hunt for photos to texturize and work on the next 2 versions:

I think people will either LOVE or HATE this one:

2 nights ago Heather at One Shot Beyond Photography was having her texture challenge so I submitted this photo with her texture to be featured on her site. Hopefully others will participate in the challenge in the up coming weeks!

These are my submissions for next week’s texture challenge:

sexy stuff girl!
Neat effects! Not sure I like the wedding pictures that way, but the others are interesting. Don’t show your dermatologist those pictures of yourself, he’ll have a heart attack!
Hi BABY!!
You were up late last night! I love the shots of you…………..
mom
adding texture to these photos is just Bad Ass Awesomeness.
wow.
Jen,
I love the texture work. The second to last one is my favorite. I have not played much with textures – perhaps you can explain the process to me sometime.
My goodness. The shots of Erin and her hubby are too sexy for words!
The shot of you with the tree bark texture over it that looks like broken glass over your eye is OUT FLIPPEN STANDING! I love that one.
You are such the ARTIST!!!
I have to say “Hi” to Jen’s Mom!!! So nice to see you on here and commenting…you raised a great person-she has became one of my dearest friends even across all these miles! Thank you!!!!
Okay for the second time b/c my 1st time commenting it didn’t show up! See how much I love ya Jen??!
The shots of Erin and her hubby are super sexy and hot.
The shot of you with the tree bark texture on top looks like broken glass to me over your eye and it’s Flippen Unbelievable! I think you are an amazing ARTIST and the way you apply textures and make them work into the photo like they were part of it from the start is UNREAL to me.
I must also say hello to Jen’s mom! I see you are commenting and I want to say I’m so glad you are. You raised a wonderful daughter and great-genuine-giving person. I am so thankful to have her as one of my dearest friends even across thousands of miles. Thank you for bringing up such a sweet girl!
So…the photos of Erin and her hubby are so stinking sexy it’s crazy and cool!
The photos of you with the tree bark that looks like broken glass right over your eye are FLIPPEN UNBELIEVABLE! You are a true ARTIST Jen!
I have to say hi to Jen’s mom here too! Hello there. You raised such an amazing person. I am so thankful to you for doing such a great job with her! She is one of my dearest friends even though we’re thousands of miles away. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Jen-thanks for taking my texture challenge this week and next…I hope more people do too!
O M G !!!! they’re all great, but that one everyone else is talkin’ bout is just absolutely incredible. Perfection!! Your eye is so crisp and clear and the texture just makes it stand out all the more. Love It!!
I have fallen in love with textures…can you believe it? However, I still haven’t figured out how to do it! So……when are you going to teach a texture lesson?
These are all G R E A T! I love Erin’s wedding photos with textures. I love the shot of you with the broken glass (?) covering one eye; the one with the stone (?) texture the same color of your eyes; and the one that you softened/erased the texture on your face but had it everywhere else.
Great work, as always. Sue
