Capturing Life's Fleeting Moments…

La Jolla Cove January 2, 2009

On my birthday we headed to San Diego (my favorite place from my excursions with Heather) and we stopped at La Jolla Cove right after sunset.
It was so beautiful to see in person and I had to keep reminding myself to see with my EYES and not JUST through the viewfinder of my camera.
I had no tripod with me so I made use of the cement walls or something steady wherever I could find something.

Jen, isn’t the Cove one of the most beautiful places on earth? Your shots are lovely…

Love the rich, warm colors you captured in the first image and, the second, well…..beautiful, serene, peaceful.

I’ve never seen it in person but after seeing your photographs, I want too. Nice work.

that first one is just breathtaking!

  5. WOW. Excellent job on these Jen. If your readers knew just how dark it actually was by the time we started shooting and viewing the cove…they’d be even more shocked at how you worked it all out. You have extraordinary patience while shooting your landscapes. I think that is one of the many things I learned about you on your trip that I didn’t already know!

Aww…La Jolla…on your birthday. It was a beautiful day.
