Today’s blog post was inspired by Mike Palmer’s recent sculpture post.  When I saw it I realized that I had 2 folders full of photos from a couple of trips I took to the Grounds for Sulpture in Hamilton, NJ in 2007 & 2008.  I have so many photos I haven’t processed…all I can do is get to them a little at a time. 🙂

Julie mentioned she’d like to see a full shot of the sculpture so I’m adding it into the post for reference although the face is a bit bright. 🙂

  5. When you said what you would be posting, I couldn’t wait to see them. These are awesome! Do you have any with the full body? HDR really works well with these.

Number 2 is particularly nice; we see her connecting to the sky above. I think Kevin is right; the sky’s importance in its vastness.

  12. Those 1st few with the sky in the background are so gorgeous. The texture on the statue is so interesting. Way to find a great piece of art and feature it through your eyes.

  13. ok i’m really diggin the clouds here!
